Climate change report / Tables & Conclusion
In 1768 the winds were predominantly from N, E, NE
whereas
in 2018 the winds were almost all S,W, SW.
The Days are similar. It could be that P.F. would have called
some of the Gardemeles Fair days Fine. If so then the 2
Septembers are even closer except for the recording of gales...
Twice as many in 2018.
Conclusion: not much change in the overall
September weather one quarter of a millennium later.
The N&E winds of 1768 would have been colder.
the Westerlies of 2018 brought more gales.
